Australian Teal Green Sapphires, discovered in the late 19th century, are primarily found in Australia, with occurrences in regions recognized as basalt-related sources. They exhibit a gradient of shades, with the most valuable having an equal composition of blue and green primary colors. The unique blend of deep blue and green comes from the presence of both Iron & Titanium. Unlike bi-colored sapphires, teal sapphire hues are blended, not distinctly zoned. They make a meaningful gift for 5th and 45th wedding anniversaries and are the birthstone for September.

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe clean the item you wish to clean. Remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing away. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines. Do not submerge or clean any of our gemstones with liquid cleaners.
