London Blue Topaz, primarily found in Brazil, is a unique variation of topaz with an inky steel-blue color, darker than other blue topaz but lighter than sapphire. Its color is usually a result of treatment involving irradiation and heating. Despite its name, there's no known link between this gemstone and London. It is the gem of the 4th anniversary, December’s birthstone and the official state gem for Texas.

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe clean the item you wish to clean. Remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing away. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines. Do not submerge or clean any of our gemstones with liquid cleaners.
