Santa Maria Aquamarine was first discovered in the Santa Maria de Itabira mine in Brazil, where mining has been ongoing for nearly three centuries is renowned for its deep blue color, a standout among aquamarines. The gemstone's deep color is caused by traces of iron in its crystal structure. Aquamarine, symbolizes the 19th wedding anniversary and is the birthstone for March.

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe clean the item you wish to clean. Remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing away. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines. Do not submerge or clean any of our gemstones with liquid cleaners.
