Kunzite, a variety of the mineral spodumene, is a gemstone primarily mined in Afghanistan, Brazil, Madagascar, and the US. It exhibits a soft, romantic light pink color, with some stones appearing colorless with a pink undertone. The color, which comes from trace amounts of manganese, can vary depending on the viewing angle due to its pleochroic nature. Kunzite can also phosphoresce, or glow in the dark, as it absorbs and slowly releases energy as light.

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe clean the item you wish to clean. Remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing away. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines. Do not submerge or clean any of our gemstones with liquid cleaners.
