My grandmother owned a piece of fashion jewellery in the 80’s that featured a simulated blue opal - the stone in this ring strongly reminded me of it. The overall ring design also caught my attention, with the crisscross chainlink detailing on the shoulders & thick, substantial band. Upon receipt, I was not disappointed - this ring is just beautiful. The stone is a marvelous deep blue + speckled green with flashes of red, pink, violet & yellow. It’s topped with a large checkerboard-cut quartz that lends its own sparkle factor. The silver is weighty & feels great on my finger - smooth & super comfortable. I’ve worn it as a punch of colour with all-black ensembles & to dress up casual denim - a fantastic addition to any look. Can’t wait to pick up the matching pendant!
